Mission Sunday 2013 Photo Recap

On Sunday, November 24 New Life hosted it’s first Mission Sunday in a very long time. Hosting a service that honored and focused on mission work was the heart desire of one of Global Reach’s main supporter,  Elder. Carlyn Terry.

During this service, two young adults, Leslie Docket and Michael Nicosia, who have given their life to mission’s work ministered. A representative, Sis. Lisa Miller, of New Covenant came as well.

Also, I was presented by Elder Caryln Terry with financial love gift that had been raised by supporters for Global Reach’s 2014 mission trips, and a report of funds raised during our special clothing drive.

Following the service, there was a special fellowship for all those who had come to the service. It was a lovely gathering. Several wonderful people (members of New Life) worked so hard to make the service and fellowship a success. Without each if theses people this service would not have been half of what it was. I’m so grateful for them working together to bring this first mission service together.

About thehbuzz

My life belongs to God, family and friends. I enjoy great conversation over excellent coffee or tea. Traveling is in my blood, and tech toys are my joy. I always have something to talk about and enjoy listening to those who have something to teach. If I have a good book in my hand or on my Nook, then that is great conversation enough. I have a local tv show on channel 21 called The H-Buzz. My job is to "keep you in the know of what's hot in the world of news and events going on near you".
